Wayne M. Ushman, Managing Director    

Wayne has more than 30 years in the investment management business. A founder in 1991 of the money management firm Worcester Partners, Ltd., Wayne developed customized investment strategies for the firm. Prior to the formation of Worcester Partners, Wayne was Vice President in charge of the Portfolio Management Department for State Mutual Life Assurance Company of America where he developed the investment strategy for the company's $9 billion portfolio of investment assets. Wayne also managed the company's trading and hedging operations. Originally from Rockland, ME, Wayne grew up in Newburgh, NY before attending Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Upon graduating from F&M and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, he settled in central Massachusetts where he currently lives with his wife, two sons and Goldendoodle.

Robert E. Jacobsen, Director and Chief Compliance Officer

Robert is a native of Holden, Massachusetts and a 2008 graduate of Worcester State College. From 2008 to 2012 Robert worked for State Street Corporation in Boston in their financial reporting department. In 2012 Robert accepted a position with Cambridge Associates, LLC to oversee their Advisory Services Group in Arlington, Virginia. Over the course of nearly two and a half years with Cambridge Associates, Robert successfully managed the Advisory Services Group as it grew from ninety-eight clients with forty billion dollars in assets under management (AUM) to one-hundred and fifty-eight clients with over seventy-four billion dollars in AUM. Upon joining Assabet in September of 2014, Robert and his wife moved to Rutland, MA where they are working on renovating a 120+ year old farm.  In between client work and house projects, Robert trains for Ironman and half-Ironman distance triathlons.
